Video communication for technology companies

The hard part isn't filming a lab. It's making people understand what happens inside.

Video communication for tech companies explains complex products, such as software, hardware or quantum computing, through video, photography and podcasts that investors, clients and future hires understand without losing rigor. Bostak Films does it from Barcelona: it is the audiovisual partner of Qilimanjaro, a European quantum computing company, with more than 15 videos produced.

Tech companies have a problem other companies don't: what they do is hard to show. There's no nice dish to photograph or shop to film. There's a product that lives on a screen, a team in front of computers or a machine nobody outside understands. Our job is to turn that into images and stories people get the first time, without the engineering team wincing.

Explain without oversimplifying

There are two ways to get tech communication wrong: so technical that only your team understands it, or so simple it stops being true. We work with the people who know the product to find the middle ground: one clear idea per piece, real footage of the product and the team, and graphics only where they help.

One milestone, three audiences

A technical milestone matters to three audiences with different questions. Investors want to know why now and why you. Clients want to see what it solves and how it's used. Talent wants to see who they'd work with and on what. From one shoot we make all three versions, each with its own length and tone.

What we produce for tech companies

Company presentation videos, product demos and use cases, content for funding rounds, event and conference coverage, photography of labs, facilities and teams, digital product catalogs and educational or company podcasts. Plus the clips for LinkedIn, where most of the sector lives.

Every milestone, its own piece

In tech things move fast: a round, a product, a partnership, an international event. That's how we work with Qilimanjaro, giving each new step its video, photos or coverage. With Audiovisuales Data we did the opposite: we turned a catalog of technical equipment into product videos and a digital catalog the sales team uses in its presentations.

A team that also builds technology

At Bostak we don't just film technology: we build it too. We run our own management software and a system that automatically turns every podcast into reels. That helps us quickly understand how a product works and what really sets it apart.

Frequently asked questions.

What is video communication for technology companies?

+

It's explaining what a tech company does through video, photography and podcasts, in a way investors, clients and future hires understand without losing rigor. It covers presentation videos, product demos, funding round content, events and photography of labs and facilities.

How do you explain a technical product on video without losing rigor?

+

By working on the script with the people who know the product, showing the real product instead of stock footage, and keeping one idea per piece. Graphics are used only where they help people understand, not as decoration.

Do you work with startups preparing a funding round?

+

Yes. For Qilimanjaro we've produced content designed for funding rounds, as well as presentation videos and event coverage. The key is to start early, so the material is ready when the round opens.

Can you shoot in a lab or technical facility?

+

Yes. For Qilimanjaro we've photographed their quantum computing labs and facilities. We plan the shoot with your team to follow access rules and avoid stopping work.
